Job Description We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Global Merchandising Solutions Team, which manages merchandising stores and distribution-related solutions within TJX IT. In this role, you’ll shape technical strategy and architectural design while collaborating across diverse, cross-functional teams to deliver capabilities that enrich the internal customer experience and drive core business value. As a hands-on leader in Data Analytics and AI, you’ll foster an inclusive culture and growth mindset while designing holistic solutions that balance multiple technology options. What You’ll Do
- Set the vision, Technical strategy, drive prioritization, and guide technical approaches for leveraging data to identify and pursue the right business opportunities
- Partner with product teams, architecture and business partners to strategically plan and deliver the product features by connecting the technical and business worlds
- Utilize Azure Data technologies to revolutionize data analytics growth within the team, enhancing the speed, accuracy, and scalability of data analysis and insight generation
- Develop and deploy Business Intelligence solutions to measure performance, identify trends, and enable data-driven decisions across the merchandising ecosystem. Oversee development and enhancement of these AI based solutions
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 15+ years technical experience in data analysis and reporting, coding languages, business intelligence OR Master’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field AND 12+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, coding languages, business intelligence
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in a complex data intensive environment and translating business needs into data requirements (experience with Microsoft Azure stack, SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric, Machine Learning and AI)
- Proven ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

Salary Range: $124,901.00-$189,135.80 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
