Why we'd want to work with you:

The AudienceView team is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth by managing both inbound and outbound opportunities. In this hybrid role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients reaching out to AudienceView and will also proactively identify and engage new prospects.

Beyond prospecting, you’ll play a key role in optimizing our sales process by leveraging data and technology to improve efficiency and outcomes. You will establish strong relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams, ensure a seamless buyer journey, and contribute operational insights that improve team performance, data quality, and reporting accuracy.

What you'll do:

  • Inbound & Outbound Sales Development
    • Manage inbound leads promptly by qualifying them, routing to the right Account Executives, and setting up discovery calls or meetings with qualified prospects.
    • Research and identify potential clients through CRM tools, LinkedIn, and industry directories.
    • Conduct cold calls, emails, and social outreach to engage new prospects.
    • Assess client needs and challenges to determine fit with AudienceView’s solutions.
    • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff and great prospect experience.
  • Operations & Enablement
    • Maintain Salesforce data hygiene, ensuring accurate and actionable records.
    • Optimize use of sales engagement tools, sharing best practices with the team.
    • Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to improve lead routing and scoring
    • Provide feedback on inbound lead quality and outbound targeting to help refine strategy.
    • Provide feedback and insights from prospects and the market to inform sales strategy and marketing campaigns.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect across departments.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and inbound qualification.
  • Strong creative writing skills to personalize outreach and engage prospects effectively.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excited by both hitting targets and improving processes.
  • Skilled in Salesforce CRM and experienced with sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the theatre or live events industry.
  • Experience supporting sales operations, reporting, or marketing alignment.

  • Speed-to-lead on inbound opportunities, with a focus on qualified and converted opportunities
  • Number of qualified meetings booked
  • CRM data quality (completeness & accuracy)
  • Opportunity value created from inbound & outbound

How we hire - here's a brief overview of our recruitment process:

  • Screening & Resume Review (30 minutes): Our Talent Acquisition team will evaluate all resumes and select candidates for a video call.
  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 minutes): Meet with the hiring manager to speak in detail about your relevant experience and learn more about the role.
  • Mock Cold Call (45 minutes): Your outreach, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and relevant knowledge will be assessed.
  • Meet the Stakeholders (30 minutes): Meet more of the team and the stakeholders to speak further about the role and the team's hiring expectations.
