We’re looking for our next Senior Training and Communications Specialist. Could it be you? The Senior Training and Communication Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating engaging training programs and crafting clear, effective internal communications using various tools and forums. This role ensures employees have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed and that company-wide initiatives are understood and adopted.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller, a strategic thinker, and a proactive collaborator with a passion for the financial services industry.

Training and Development:
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across departments.
- Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, workshops, e-learning modules, and user manuals.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions for employees at all levels.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
Change Management and Internal Communications:
- Collaborate with program leadership and key stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic internal communications plan that aligns with the program's goals and timeline.
- Partner with program managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their communication needs and ensure they are equipped to communicate changes effectively to their teams.
- Draft, edit, and manage the production of all internal communications materials, including company-wide emails, intranet articles, presentations, Q&As, and internal newsletters.
- Work closely with the change management lead to communicate the purpose and benefits of the program, address employee questions and concerns, and celebrate milestones and successes.
- Ensure all communications are consistent in tone and messaging.
- Manage and maintain the company's internal communication channels.
- Support the planning and execution of internal events, such as all-hands meetings, town halls, and virtual roadshows.
Collaboration and Administration:
- Work closely with department heads and subject matter experts to gather information for training and communications.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for training and communication initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance and completion.
- Stay up to date on industry trends in training, development, and internal communications.

- Have a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Have 3 - 5 years of experience in a training and communications role, preferably within the financial services industry
- Have proven experience in creating content for both internal and external audiences.
- Have exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Have a strategic and creative mindset, with the ability to build a communications function from scratch.
- Have proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with content management and social media platforms.
Additional Kudos If You…
- Have knowledge of the banking or fintech industry.
- Have experience with crisis communications planning.
