THE JOB: Project Coordinator, Physician Health Program
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $57,160 - $71,450
Reporting to the PHP Manager, Operations, the Project Coordinator supports the workplan and strategic plan of the PHP Team by supporting the development and implementation of assigned initiatives and projects identified by the Manager and the larger leadership team of the department.
The Project Coordinator will support the steering of short and long term operational improvement initiatives, technical changeover and implementation projects as well as projects which support our clinical service offerings. They will be involved in reporting and tracking the activities of the PHP.
Using effective communication, high attention to detail, and strong time management skills, the Project Coordinator is also responsible for taking a proactive approach to ensuring progress occurs across the various ongoing projects and that milestones are met and effectively communicated across the team, department, and with internal and external stakeholders with which they will maintain strong relationships.

WHAT YOU BRING
- An undergraduate degree or a specialized post-secondary diploma in a related field with up to two years of related experience, or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
- Specialized knowledge in a technical or professional discipline, preferably in a health, not-for-profit, government or business sector, and an ability to apply technical/professional concepts and applications to tasks or activities.
- Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects, and working with internal and external parties in a coordinated manner
- Experience of applying project management skills
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing and developing databases, including CRM/EMR systems, for tracking team activity and projects
- Demonstrated experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, able to represent the department with a high level of professionalism.
- Proven ability to respond to a wide variety of issues and deal with ambiguity and conflicting demands
- Effective writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
