We are looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads with a hands-on approach, and drives operational excellence every day. In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for inventory control and shipping/receiving, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety while enabling Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage the inventory, part kitting and shipping & receiving teams, including hiring, training, and performance management

  • Oversee daily inventory activities, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of materials per pick list requirements

  • Communicate missing or delayed components to relevant teams and resolve discrepancies to avoid production delays

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, metrics, and reports for management

  • Identify and implement process improvements in kitting, inventory, and warehouse layout; support cross-training

  • Investigate and resolve receipt or inventory discrepancies, collaborating with internal stakeholders

  • Ensure workplace safety compliance, training recertifications, and coordinate disposition of obsolete inventory

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience

  • 7–10 years in manufacturing/warehouse operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role

  • Proven expertise in inventory control, materials management, and supply chain operations

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to optimize inventory and production performance metrics

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/MOS systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across digital and in-person channels

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, including flexible shifts
