Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Part-time (0.83 FTE) Education Assistant at Whitecourt Central School.
Successful Candidate Responsibilities
- Working with students one-on-one & in groups in a classroom
Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
- Understand and carry out oral and written direction
- Work independently with minimal instruction
- Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
- Respect confidentiality
- Practice professionalism with all WCS students, staff, administration, parents and public
- Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
- Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
- Have strong interpersonal skills and patience
- Enjoys working in a team environment
Start Date:
- ASAP
Hours:
- 25 hours per week
