Scopee:
Ciena NPI Test Engineering Team is looking for a dynamic Coop Student, who like software and hardware, to contribute to the introduction of New Ciena Platform Products.
The successful candidate, under the supervision of a NPI Test Engineer, will participate in Test development, prototype testing/debugging and station design/assembly.
Responsibilities:
Depending on the life cycle of the product, the candidate will:
- Participate in the design/Assembly of Test Station
- Participate in the development of Test Sequences/cases
- Help validating Test cases on Prototypes
- Help Debugging prototype units,
- Help Documenting Test station, Test Sequences & debug procedures.
Education:
- Enrolled in bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Experiences & skills
- Software coding skills (C, C#, Python, RegEx, etc…)
- Excellent Electronics knowledge and debugging skills.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great communications skills.
Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: Ciena Ottawa (Office/Lab Environment)
Durations: Looking for at least 2 Terms (8 months), with possibility of extension.
