We are seeking a motivated Investment Strategy Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to explore the finance industry, enhance your skills, and work on projects that directly contribute to our company's success.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Support the Investment Strategy team in the formulation of investment strategies, developing macro and micro forecasts, and communicating asset allocation/regional recommendations for the Canadian, US and select international markets;
- Assist the Investment Strategy Associates and Analysts in producing written strategy reports, commentary, and decks/chart books on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as developing and maintaining macro-economic models and forecasting tools to support the team's recommendations;
- Work with team members to ensure publications, products and portfolio positioning reflects the broad strategy communicated to the advisory channel; and
- Other duties as assigned.

What do we expect from you? To qualify for this opportunity, you possess:
- A Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration, or similar, in progress;
- Strong English writing skills – French fluency is an asset;
- Basic understanding of macroeconomic principles;
- Proficiency with MS Office particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Experience in programming or managing and analyzing datasets is an asset;
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Superior problem solving skills;
- The ability to work within deadlines in a high-volume, pressure-oriented environment; and
- The ability to effectively handle confidential information.

Salary Range: $21 hourly
Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
