About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of multi-residential properties, ensuring operational excellence, high tenant satisfaction, and strong financial outcomes. What you’ll get to do:
Operational Leadership:
Manage daily site operations, inspections, and capital improvement projects; uphold high standards across all common areas and building systems.
Tenant Relations:
Build lasting resident relationships by addressing concerns, ensuring service excellence, and supporting long-term retention.
Financial Performance:
Oversee rent collection, budget management, variance analysis, and reporting; support leasing efforts to drive occupancy and ROI.
Team & Vendor Oversight:
Lead on-site teams and external service providers to ensure timely, quality service and cost-effective operations.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure full regulatory compliance with applicable legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act; maintain detailed documentation and proactively manage risk. Innovation & Optimization:
Leverage new tools, technologies, and practices to improve property performance and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate regularly with leadership, provide reporting, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Who you are:
Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily property management as a Property Manager overseeing multi property portfolios of 1,000+ units, with proven leadership. Certificate or degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; CPM, IHM, or similar designations are an asset. Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and municipal legislation. Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated leadership, people management, and vendor coordination skills. Excellent communication, diplomacy, and conflict resolution abilities. Highly adaptable, organized, and resourceful, with a commitment to continuous improvement. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
This position offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a highly established and well-recognized real estate company. You will receive annual compensation with a base salary ranging from $85,000 to $90,000, plus a monthly car allowance, extensive benefits, and education reimbursement.
