Office Administration – Health Services - Seneca Polytechnic, Toronto, Canada

Ideal candidates often bring a combination of the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Medical/Health Administration, Nursing, or a closely related field
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Practical, professional experience in Medical Office Administration or a related healthcare setting

We welcome applications for part-time teaching opportunities. Course assignments are based on scheduling and instructional needs. Contract faculty typically teach up to 6 hours per week, with classes scheduled Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.

Pre‑Employment Verification Process: Administrative and Support Positions**:** For Administrative and Support roles, Seneca conducts standard pre‑employment verification after a conditional offer of employment is made. Faculty & Teaching Positions: For professor positions, we require copies of official transcripts directly from the issuing institution or credential evaluation from World Education Services (WES) or International Credential Assessment Service (ICAS). However, we recommend that candidates gather any supporting documentation (e.g., unofficial transcripts, scan of credentials) in advance to support their applications in the event that they are successful in the hiring process. The compensation step will be determined based on receiving and verifying relevant formal education through official transcripts and relevant work experience, in accordance with the salary placement calculation process.
