The Building Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems and equipment. The role ensures that the property maintains clean, safe, and fully operational. This position is a live in position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• Inspects building systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, etc.)
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants
• Troubleshoot and fix issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, etc.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future problems
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs when needed
• Preform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and landscaping support

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building maintenance
• Certification in HVAC, electrical, or building systems is an asset
• Valid drivers license in good standing
