JOB DESCRIPTION
Winters Instruments is currently looking for a highly motivated, driven and focused Regional Sales Manager to cover the region of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. This role is based in Edmonton.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Daily operation aligned with Winters' Core Values, reflected in customer communications.

Grow sales and maintain gross margin profitability in line with annual budgets.

Set and monitor sales budgets for regional distributors.
-
Identify and secure new customer opportunities (OEMs, EPCs, Fabricators, End Users), driving business through channel partners wherever possible.
-
Develop solid relationships with new/existing accounts, providing support as needed.
-
Develop an annual sales plan with VP Canadian Division to achieve objectives.
-
Build internal and external relationships to drive sales and maintain profitability.
-
Conduct joint sales calls with key distributors to support their initiatives.
-
Provide product knowledge/training when needed to support sales activities.
-
Present quarterly sales reviews on progress towards objectives.
-
Attend industry and distributor trade shows, events, and open houses as required.
-
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
5-10 years of technical sales / management in a related industry and product experience.

Highly motivated self-starter with a proven sales track record in Western Canada's instrumentation industry, electronics or related field.

Demonstrated experience in business development and account management, with a strong network preferred.

Excellent ability to connect with others and drive sales in a team environment.

B.Sc. or Engineering degree preferred, will consider candidates with Technical Diploma
-
Good business acumen and experience working with customers across multiple disciplines is an asset.

Skilled in written and oral communications.

Preferred, work experience within the instrumentation industry
-
Ability to travel in Western Canada 50% of the time.
