About the role
What we expect
- Prepare and manage quotations for clients, including cost estimates for services, equipment, and parts.
- Generate and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Create and track purchase orders and requisitions for materials, tools, and equipment needed for field operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any procurement issues.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of critical parts and equipment for field teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, updates, and support related to field activities and product requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all quotes, orders, and requisitions, ensuring clear records for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all field operations.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, resource utilization, and project progress for management.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement in order preparation, field operations, and customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in operations coordination, project management, or a related field, preferably in the elevator or construction industry.
- Familiarity with elevator systems and/or mechanical equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Project management or safety certifications are advantageous.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and field demands.
