Position Description As Engineering Manager at our Milwaukee Service Repair Hub, you will play a leadership role in driving operational excellence, supporting production, returns and reconditioning operations, and fostering a high-performance culture rooted in our core values. You will lead a skilled engineering team, champion continuous improvement, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data-driven solutions, support new product development, and enhance quality and productivity across the plant. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about developing people and processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide daily leadership and support to the engineering workforce, fostering a culture anchored in TTI Canada’s core values.
  • Support production, returns, and reconditioning operations by leading problem-solving efforts to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and ensure safety and quality.
  • Partner with the Business System Technology Team in delivering analytics, dashboards, and root cause analysis to drive performance.
  • Develop and mentor engineering teams to enhance technical capabilities and leadership growth.
  • Maintain and implement work instructions and procedural changes in collaboration with plant teams.
  • Coordinate with IT to validate and implement updates to shop management systems.
  • Lead 6S (5S + Safety) initiatives and manage non-stock purchasing activities.
  • Collaborate on new product development through the Service VIGOR process, including service documentation, tooling, spare parts, and production launch support.
  • Own the Service Hub’s quality processes by partnering with corporate and quality teams to conduct audits, reviews, implement corrective actions, and reduce negative customer experiences.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives, tracking and reporting productivity gains and cost savings.
  • Work overtime (OT) when needed based on operational needs
  • Ensure collaboration and effective communication between the US and Canadian Hub operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in production-related engineering; experience in service repair environments and new product development is highly desired.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification or training preferred.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems; Oracle and Korber One expertise is a plus.
  • Proven success in building high-performing engineering teams and navigating startup or high-growth environments.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills across distributed teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Willingness to travel frequently during initial training and plant setup (up to 75%), and regularly post-launch (up to 50%), some travel will be international
