Because why not do it all?Position Focus and Scope Read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plans using hand and power tools. Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery. Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions. Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery. Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment. Welding and machining would be an asset.General Job Description Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc. Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Cleans and lubricates parts. Orders replacement parts. Inspects completed repairs. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Requisitions new parts and equipment. Works towards and supports TPM in conjunction with Lean Manufacturing principlies.Level Responsabilities GUIDANCE Operates under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned objectives.

Applies expertise in a technical specialty. Typically requires four years of formal training or equivalent and significant related work experience.
NATURE OF WORK
Assignments reflect substantial variety and complexity; may be longer-term in nature. Decision making involves gathering, organizing and analying information and using judgment to select the most appropriate approach from a range of alternatives.
TEAM ROLE
May operate in a lead capacity, providing work direction and review for other employees.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Secondary school education required. Completion of apprenticeship program and trade certification. Minimum of five years work experience in the trade in industrial machinery repair or millwrighting.WHAT WE OFFER
