Role: ServiceNow HAM Pro Developer (Hardware Asset Management Professional) Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO) Duration: 12 months

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HAM Pro Developer to implement and enhance Hardware Asset Management processes on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on asset lifecycle management, automation, compliance, and integration with enterprise systems to ensure accurate tracking and optimization of hardware assets.

Key Skills: (ServiceNow HAM Pro, Hardware Asset Management, Flexera Migration, Asset Lifecycle, Stockroom, Inventory, Procurement, Disposal, Asset-CI Reconciliation, Hardware Normalization, ITAM) Key Responsibilities: Implement and configure ServiceNow HAM Pro modules (Asset Lifecycle, Procurement, Inventory, Stockrooms) Manage end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle (request → procurement → deployment → retirement → disposal) Configure asset models, stock rules, transfer orders, and inventory workflows Integrate HAM with CMDB, Discovery, SCCM/Intune, and procurement systems Develop custom scripts, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer) Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation between CMDB and asset records Implement barcode/RFID-based inventory and asset tracking solutions Support audit and compliance requirements (especially for regulated industries) Create reports and dashboards for asset utilization, lifecycle status, and cost optimization Collaborate with ITSM, procurement, finance, and infrastructure teams Troubleshoot platform and data issues, and optimize performance Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development Strong hands-on experience with HAM Pro (Hardware Asset Management Professional) Solid understanding of IT asset lifecycle management Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM modules Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Business Rules, UI Policies Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server) Knowledge of inventory and stockroom management processes ServiceNow certifications preferred: CSA (Certified System Administrator) CIS-HAM (Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM) Experience with SAM Pro (Software Asset Management) Knowledge of financial tracking (depreciation, asset costing) Exposure to BFSI or regulated environments Experience with ITIL processes
