Are you an experienced project management professional ready to lead a team and shape strategic facility projects that improve workplace environments who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we are looking for a Supervisor, Project Management, to join our Facility Services team – a key role in ensuring that our spaces are safe, sustainable and adaptable to the evolving needs of our organization.
In this leadership role, you will oversee a team responsible for delivering operating and capital projects, supporting space planning and driving strategic initiatives across multiple sites. You will play a critical part in optimizing real estate assets and creating work environments that support employee well-being and productivity.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of project management professionals.
- Recruit, coach and mentor staff to build a high performing, engaged team.
- Set goals, monitor performance and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
- Oversee the planning and execution of complex capital and operating projects.
- Collaborate with Facilities Maintenance and Space Planning teams to align project goals and resources.
- Manage project risks, budgets and timelines across the full lifecycle.
- Support strategic planning, including the Multi-Year Project Plan and Asset Management Plan.
- Liaison with departments across the organization to understand and address facility needs.
- Provide guidance and strategic input to internal stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Lead and support procurement efforts, contract management and vendor relations.
- Monitor and track project performance to ensure high standards of quality and compliance.
- Ensure health and safety, accessibility, and sustainability requirements are met on all projects.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing industry best practices.
- Prepare and present annual capital and operating budgets. Monitor expenditures, forecast project costs, and manage financial reporting.
- Support value creation through improved efficiencies and strategic investment.
Your experience and skills:
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Equivalent trade certification will also be considered.
- Project Management Program (PMP) certification is an asset.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in project and contract management, preferably in the construction or commercial real estate sectors is preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience, with proven skills in recruitment, coaching and team development is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing), space planning, and facilities operations.
- Familiarity with building codes, OH&S legislation, and accessibility standards.
- Proficient in project tools such as MS Project, Excel, and project tracking software.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: $92,684 to $109,024 per annum (Pay Grade 12)
