Position Overview We’re looking for an E-Commerce Administrator who is passionate about managing the e-commerce environment for a growing Canadian brand. This on-site position in Vaughan offers the flexibility for occasional remote work. You’ll play an integral role in the management, administration, and troubleshooting of the marathonwatch.com environment, working closely with our Creative and Brand Marketing teams. In addition, the role oversees other online sales platforms such as Amazon and Staples.

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Management: Upload, categorize, and update product descriptions, pricing, and imagery across the website.
  • Website and Platform Management: Maintain and update e-commerce websites, including Shopify and Amazon, ensuring accurate product listings, inventory levels, and pricing.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, update SKU availability, and coordinate with warehouses to fulfill orders on time. Ensure the Amazon warehouses (Canada and USA) are monitored regularly and stock is transferred as required.
  • Third-Party Supplier Management: Serve as the main point of contact for e-commerce suppliers on matters such as product returns, shipment tracking, and professional discounts.
  • Site Maintenance: Troubleshoot broken links, test checkout flows, and optimize product pages for SEO and conversion.
  • Promotions & Sales: Assist in setting up discount codes and gift-with-purchase offers, launching campaigns, and ensuring on-site merchandising aligns with current marketing efforts.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website performance, analyze sales data, track KPIs, and provide insights to optimize revenue, conversion rates, and customer engagement. This includes familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and native platform dashboards, and the ability to interpret sales data, web traffic, and customer behaviour to inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer service, IT, and logistics teams to implement campaigns, update site content, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Site Development: Participate in technical planning, documentation, testing, and deployment activities related to e-commerce innovation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining e-commerce websites and portals.
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce space, including marketing strategies, leading e-commerce website builders (e.g., Shopify), product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
  • Understanding of the platforms and online sales strategies used to drive digital sales and improve website conversion.
  • Familiarity with web design, HTML, and CSS, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing or a related field.
