About The Role We are supporting our client in finding an enthusiastic and customer-focused Help Desk Analyst to join their growing technical support team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about troubleshooting, providing exceptional customer service, and eager to develop their career in IT support. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will serve as the primary point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance, resolving a variety of hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and professionally. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting diverse users and technologies, and gaining valuable experience in IT support operations.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess 1-3+ years of experience in help desk, service desk, or technical support roles. Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and Mac OS platforms, Office 365, and other common business applications are essential. Familiarity with Active Directory, user provisioning, and basic networking concepts is required. Experience working with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people are crucial for success in this role. Candidates with knowledge of Hyper-V, VMware, or similar virtualization technologies will have an added advantage. The ability to work effectively in a hybrid onsite environment, coupled with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, is essential for thriving in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Manage, prioritize, and document tickets to ensure timely resolution and excellent service levels
  • Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including account setup, access provisioning, and device preparation
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and assist with device refreshes as needed
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 support teams when necessary
  • Contribute to internal knowledgebase articles and suggest process improvements to enhance support efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring end users feel supported and informed throughout their support experience
