Position Overview: The Commercial Growth & Account Manager is responsible for expanding BluPlanet’s commercial client base while nurturing and strengthening existing client relationships. This role combines new business development with account management to drive sustainable revenue growth, maintain healthy margins, and ensure strong customer retention. The ideal candidate is a proactive, client-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by results.

Key Responsibilities: Commercial Sales & Growth

  • Identify and pursue new commercial business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecast updates.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Management to ensure pricing aligns with margin targets.

Account Management & Retention

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for commercial accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and service optimization.
  • Lead renewal conversations and manage rate adjustments where appropriate.

Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Client Services and Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Provide insights on market trends and customer feedback to support business strategy.

KPI Dashboard / Scorecard Management

  • Track key metrics including Net New Commercial Revenue, Gross Margin on New Contracts, Commercial Account Retention, Pipeline Value vs Target, and Forecast Accuracy.
  • Use KPI insights to inform business development strategy and strengthen client relationships.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or commercial client relations.
  • Strong understanding of business development, contract management, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, manage pipelines, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate across internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
