About the role

Job Overview: We have an opportunity for a curious, detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our Consumer Insights team at Omnicom Media Group. This role is about asking questions, turning complex data into clear, compelling insights that create value for our customers, and guiding marketing strategies across a variety of product categories. The ideal candidate brings strong research instincts, an interest in data analysis, marketing strategy, human behaviour, and the ability to communicate findings in a way that drives ah-ha moments, and well-founded decisions.

Key Responsibilities: Survey Analysis: Support the questionnaire design and testing process, monitor fieldwork (quota tracking, data quality checks, soft and full launch coordination), and manage data processing through to final reporting. Insight Development & Storytelling: Go beyond what the numbers say: translate findings into clear, compelling narratives, structure them into a clear point of view, and build presentation-ready deliverables that stakeholders can act on. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including strategy, planning, and senior management, to interpret data findings and guide strategic decisions. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of data collected and analyzed across various research projects. Project Management: Manage multiple research projects simultaneously (coordinating with vendors, tracking timelines, and ensuring every study is delivered on time and to a high standard).

Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (social sciences, marketing, business, psychology, or similar), and 1+ years of experience in research analysis with a demonstrated ability to translate findings into clear, actionable insights. Research Methodologies: Familiarity with a variety of research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, and secondary research. Communication: Proven ability to communicate complex data as clear, executive-ready narratives for both client and internal audiences. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Problem-Solving: Ability to approach problems with a structured, methodical approach and recommend effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Educational Background: A postgraduate college program or master’s degree in a relevant field is a strong plus. Experience with Advanced Analytical Tools: Experience with analytical tools such as DisplayR, SPSS, Q, R, Python, or SQL is a plus. AI Tool Fluency: Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for research support, synthesis, and workflow efficiency is a strong plus. Advanced Quant Awareness: Awareness of advanced quantitative techniques such as MaxDiff, segmentation, and cluster analysis is a plus.
