About the Client

This company is a fan commerce platform where voice actors, screen actors, creators, and VTubers sign prints, posters, and custom artwork live on stream while fans watch and interact. We handle the storefront, artwork, printing, fulfillment, and fan experience.

We work with hundreds of talent across gaming, anime, film, TV, and the VTuber space. Anime and gaming are our two largest buyer verticals, covering franchises like Jujutsu Kaisen , Dragon Ball , Final Fantasy , Persona , Fire Emblem , and dozens more. These communities are growing fast, and we need someone who lives in this world to help us grow with them.

The Role

You will join our talent partnerships team to identify, pitch, and sign and launch revenue-producing talent, with a focus on anime and gaming.

This is a hunting role. You will prospect daily, build pipeline from scratch, run calls, close deals, and sign and launch new talent onto the platform. Success is measured by the revenue your talent generates, not roster size.

The right person can look at a franchise, a casting announcement, a new anime season, or a game launch and quickly identify who has real commercial potential. Just as important, they know when to pass.

While anime and gaming are your primary focus, you will also work opportunities across film, TV, creators, and VTubers when needed. A small team means everyone contributes everywhere. Most voice actors in anime and gaming are approachable directly or through small management teams, so this is a relationship-driven sales process, not a gatekeeper-heavy one.

Your commission scales with results, not volume. Signing the right voice actor from the right franchise matters more than filling a roster.

What You Will Do

-Prospecting and Pipeline Building

  • Prospect daily through email, DMs, social platforms, and direct outreach to talent, managers, and agents.
  • Research and identify voice actors, creators, and other talent with engaged fanbases and real sales potential.
  • Build outreach lists by franchise, anime season, game launch, studio, or content vertical.
  • Track anime season announcements, game launches, casting news, and fandom trends to identify signing opportunities before competitors do.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline with urgency and discipline. -Sales and Closing
  • Run discovery calls and platform demos with talent and their representation.
  • Communicate our value clearly and credibly.
  • Negotiate terms and event details.
  • Evaluate talent opportunities based on franchise strength, fandom engagement, and revenue potential.
  • Hit monthly pipeline and revenue targets. -Relationship Management
  • Own the relationship from first contact through signed deal and successful first launch.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on shop setup, artwork, and scheduling.
  • Build long-term relationships with agents, managers, and talent for repeat business and referrals. -Process Discipline
  • Keep HubSpot fully updated with activity, notes, stages, and forecasts. If it is not logged, it did not happen.
  • Maintain clear follow-up discipline.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

  • Ramp quickly into active daily prospecting.
  • Build a healthy pipeline of qualified talent opportunities.
  • Show strong judgment on who is worth pursuing.
  • Close early wins.
  • Operate with consistent process discipline in HubSpot.

What We Are Looking For

Must Have

  • 2+ years in outbound sales, partnerships, talent sales, creator partnerships, or business development with real prospecting responsibility.
  • Proven history of sourcing and closing your own opportunities.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach across email, DMs, and social.
  • Track record of hitting activity, pipeline, or revenue targets.
  • Strong written communication that sounds informed and human, not templated.
  • Genuine knowledge of anime and/or gaming culture, franchises, voice actors, and fandom behavior.
  • Strong self-management and follow-through.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in entertainment, creator economy, or talent partnerships.
  • Existing relationships with anime or gaming voice actors, agents, or managers.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM.
  • Knowledge of VTubers, dubbing studios, or adjacent fandom verticals.
  • Personal involvement in fandom communities, conventions, streaming culture, or merch collecting.

What This Role Is Not

This is not enterprise SaaS sales. You are building relationships with creative people, not selling software to procurement teams. If your experience is exclusively in B2B SaaS, this will feel very different.

This is also not a fan role disguised as a sales job. You will have a quota. You will prospect daily. You will be measured on revenue. Fandom knowledge helps you spot the right opportunities. Sales discipline is what makes you successful here.
