Looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Machinery Mechanic to join our Crew

Full time position - Monday to Friday ( Option to work on Saturdays)

Starting wage is 25$ an hour with the ability to grow!

*Duties will include: *

• Inspecting bulldozers, excavators, rock trucks and other heavy construction equipment for proper performance, and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers? specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Service attachments and working tools such as blades, ploughs, winches and side booms
• May perform repair work on heavy trucks

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) year of directly related experience regarding the following:

• Strong Understanding in:

• Diesel Engines and all components

• Heavy duty Truck Steering, Suspension, Brake, & Transmission Systems

• Hydraulic Systems (Repair/change worn or failed hoses)

• Electrical repairs

• Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g. hand and power tools, etc.)

• Ability to handle 100 lbs of weight

• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

• Satisfactory health, attendance and former employment history.

• Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, with a clean drivers abstract
