Every year, millions of home sales across North America require the manual review of contracts, disclosures, receipts, compliance forms, and brokerage documents. Deals move through endless email threads, PDFs, and checklists, with humans acting as the glue that holds the system together.

It's clear that AI should be doing most of that work.

At myAbode, we operate one of the largest real estate transaction processing platforms in Canada, handling 30,000+ transactions every year across thousands of agents. That scale has given us a front-row seat to how real estate actually works — where the friction lives, where errors happen, and where automation can fundamentally change the game.

Now we're rebuilding the system from the ground up.

We're creating an AI-first transaction infrastructure that can interpret contracts, extract structured data from documents, validate compliance requirements, and move deals forward automatically. Humans step in only when judgment or expertise is required.

The real estate industry hasn't meaningfully changed in decades. We're the platform — and the team — changing it.

What You'll Work On

You won't be handed a roadmap. You'll be building it.

• Define our AI architecture strategy: you'll determine which models, what orchestration patterns, when we build vs. buy
• Design and build AI-powered document processing and agentic systems, from segmentation and classification to tool registries and multi-step orchestration
• Design event-driven workflows for document processing, email ingestion, and data synchronization
• Own features from concept to deployment: design, build, test, release, and monitor, end to end
• Drive architectural decisions across our multi-tenant platform: scalable APIs, data modeling, and infrastructure
• Shape our AI-augmented engineering workflow. We use agentic coding tools internally and want to push the boundary
• Mentor and elevate engineers around you. We're building a culture of craft in a small team where your decisions have immediate, visible impact

What We're Looking For

You're a strong full-stack engineer who's comfortable owning features end-to-end in a fast-moving environment. You don't need permission to solve problems. You're curious, a lifelong learner, and you thrive in the kind of scrappy, high-trust environment where the best idea wins and everyone's sleeves are rolled up.

About You:

• You've have strong opinions, loosely held, about how to do it well
• You've shipped AI-powered features in production — not just prototyped, actually shipped and maintained them
• You're a strong full-stack engineer comfortable across the entire surface area: APIs, data modeling, frontend, infrastructure
• You can own a system end-to-end: design it, build it, deploy it, and be woken up by it
• You write TypeScript the way it's meant to be written — strict, validated at boundaries, no any
• You're an exceptional communicator who makes complex ideas land with engineers and non-engineers alike
• You elevate the people around you through code review, mentorship, and leading by example
