Technical Sales Specialist
Job Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Pay Rate: $70,000 - $80,000 per year + Performance Bonus Job Overview We are seeking a Marketing & Inside Sales Coordinator to support our sales and business development activities within a specialized manufacturing and engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone who is technically inclined, highly organized, and comfortable working with engineering teams, customers, and sales processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Support lead generation activities through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and customer follow-ups.
- Research and qualify potential customers and coordinate opportunities with the sales and engineering teams.
- Prepare and organize customer quotations, proposals, estimates, presentations, and sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to sales coordination, documentation, reporting, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to understand technical requirements and support business development activities.
- Assist with preparing technical documents, product information, and customer facing materials.
- Coordinate trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and marketing initiatives.
- Provide ongoing sales and marketing support to ensure smooth execution of business development activities.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations, trade shows, and industry events as required.
- Manage and maintain the company website content, ensuring information is accurate, current, and aligned with company branding.
Job Requirements
- An engineering, technical, or manufacturing-related educational background is strongly preferred.
- Strong interest and ability to understand technical products, machinery, automation, or industrial solutions.
- Comfortable working with technical documentation, proposals, quotations, and customer requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete detailed administrative tasks accurately.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn industry-specific software, tools, and systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, machinery, automation, or engineering environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of machine building, industrial equipment, or automation systems is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally as required. Benefits
