About the role
Under the direction of the IT Manager, the Systems & Application Administrator will support the organization regarding all aspects of IT support and will be the lead for key systems such as Office365 and Entrata. This will include employee hardware and software setup/maintenance, asset management, administrative support of the network, and helpdesk support. They will support process initiatives to reduce manual work leveraging systems, as well as support other IT projects as outlined by the manager.
Job Duties
- Ensure accurate employee setup for hardware, software, and cell phones
- Manage computer, printer, and accessory inventory including overseeing the refresh cycles
- Help manage the Office365 environment including setup of users, implementation of security policies, and Teams Phone system
- Manage application user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform regular system monitoring, health checks, and backups.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, procedures, and knowledgebase articles.
- Assist in computer networking tasks, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network connections.
- Utilize ticketing system for ticket management, tracking, and resolution of technical support requests.
- Support other IT projects and initiatives as required including ERP system support
- Work includes extended time at a desk, and manual work in setting up IT equipment
Qualifications & Skills
- College Diploma/Certificate or University Degree in related field required or related/equivalent work experience.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Office 365.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Able to be a self-starter, and drive initiatives independently.
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Relevant certifications in IT support or related fields.
