Wesbell is seeking a Construction Manager in Winnipeg, NB. They will play a key role in establishing and growing our new Winnipeg branch by setting up operations, building crews, and managing staff as the location expands. This role also oversees crews in the construction of cellular sites—both tower and rooftop—ensuring safety, high-quality work, and overall project profitability.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities Include
- Bring strong business acumen to help establish and grow the new Winnipeg branch
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Lead the setup and day-to-day operations of the Winnipeg location
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Enforcing and tracking budgets
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials, and equipment
- Review the work progress on a daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Any other duties that may be assigned
EDUCATION (THEORETICAL TRAINING)
- BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field
- 5 Years minimum experience as a foreman in wireless construction
- Management training courses an asset

- Proven working experience in construction management
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Problem-solving and problem avoidance skills
