Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division. GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. The Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, and Law IT area is a dynamic team partnered with RBC clients across Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We develop and support a wide suite of applications tailored to business needs.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage the development, implementation and support of IT SRE and Production Operations analytics initiatives and reporting. The role will be responsible for designing, collecting, and preparing SRE related reports for metrics and KRI's for management, Audit, and regulatory reporting. The role will help define and deploy standardized reporting across Fraud, AML, and Law IT applications.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Responsible for the management of SRE related reporting for the Fraud, AML, and Law IT team
- Assessing the scope and resources required of various analytics projects and working with manager to define necessary resources.
- Managing client relations to ensure that expectations for dashboards are managed and fulfilled.
- Monitoring and communicating key performance metrics and operational challenges
- Leverage enterprise monitoring and reporting tools and applying their adoption across FAML
- Analyze metrics for determination of emerging issues or trending
- Assess and adopt Enterprise Gen AI tools as it relates to KPI’s and metrics
- Collaborate and contribute with Application Support and Maintenance teams for continuous improvement
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Familiarity with project management tools including JIRA for task management, Confluence for documentation, Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of technical and business stakeholders
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities with experience in agile and waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across technical functions and business units
