Job Responsibilities:
HOURLY : PROGRESSIVE RATES
$29.38 - $38.42
VACANCY STATUS:
Immediate, Open Position
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend all prescribed courses as required by the College
- Assist in trouble shooting and repairs on all IMM and auxiliary equipment
- Assist licensed electricians/robotic technicians in trouble shooting and repairs of robotic equipment
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and
- regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
- Comply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIP
- Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct
- Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standards
- Work within the guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook
- Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
- Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards
- Perform other duties as required
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION:
- Completed Grade 12 education
- Enrollment in 1st year Apprentice Electrician program with a reputable college, 2nd year preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Some experience in electrical and mechanical repairs
- Experience in using power tools
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Robotics is preferred
SKILLS:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
