About Potash
The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon. BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.
Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for mid-2027. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. Work Location
This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK. The work schedule for this role can be either 4x10 or 5x8 (40 hours per week).
Purpose
Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure & Services, the I&S Administator will support the Infrastructure & Services team to drive operational excellence and service delivery to the Operations and Project teams.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Schedule, coordinate and support the delivery of safety, productivity and governance requirements across the I&S team (such as safety, field leadership, risk management, BOS, training and KPI tracking)
- Apply an understanding of the business context, BHP operating system and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.
- Develop and communicate insights that guide data driven action and decision making amongst I&S Operations core deliverables.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
About You
- A minimum of 5 years experience providing administration and / or coordination support in a mining, industrial or large scale commercial environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management and prioritization attributes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Previous experience on mining projects or within Potash operations will be considered an asset.
