Responsibilities This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Chemical Process Assistant (COOP) you will be responsible for:
- Conducting validation and verification of incoming chemicals and materials, including modifying existing protocols, and developing new ones as needed
- Prepare and complete documentation as required for experiments performed for incoming chemicals / materials and for experiment events arising due to material specification changes
- Plan and execute experiments to support sensor development projects
- Work with operations and laboratory personnel to set schedules for experimental builds and test plans.
- Present project work.
- Assist in the creation and execution of validation/verification protocols.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in data analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to draft complex protocols and reports
- Comprehensive data analysis capabilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
- Student in Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or another related field.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis.
The pay range for this position is $20-$32 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers interns paid time off.
