LPN and RN Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must be willing to travel to 2 of the following communities for 2 hours shifts: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and Mission.
- Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
- Provide Delegations of Task or other training to care team.
- Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendation on complex care plans
- Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practising safely and competently within the job description
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Specific Nursing Roles:
- Home Care Nurses: Provide clinical care to our clients, delegate tasks to the Care Team, perform assessments, and provide nursing and personal hygiene care as required. Must have 1+ year nursing experience, including basic wound care, assessments, vitals tracking, and coordinating care. Flexible schedule where you provide at least 2 days per week (10 hours per week) availability, including weekends and evenings.
- Facilities Role: provide shift sick and vacation coverage for Facilities who contract with us on an as needed basis. LPNs and RNs desired for 7-3, 3-11, 11-7 7 days per week in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Maple Ridge.
Requirements
- At least 2 days per week of availability totalling 10 hours per week of availability to work.
- Class 5 Drivers Licence & reliable transportation.
- Double COVID Vaccination required
- Current LPN or RN licence in BC
- TB test within 2 years
- First Aid with CPR
- Hospital, home care and palliative care experience is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal English skills. Other languages an asset.
- Technically savvy with mobile apps and G-suite
- Previous home care nursing experience an asset.
