Job Overview:
- Are you a skilled Cost Management professional who thrives in a fast‑paced project environment? We are seeking a Purchase Requisition Analyst to provide high‑level financial administration and transactional accounting support to project cost management activities.
- In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for purchase order and change order requisitions, analysis, monitoring, and invoice management across all phases of a project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced cost control support to assigned project management teams.
- Collaborate closely with Project Controls Advisors, Execution Leads, and Engineering teams to initiate purchase orders and change orders, ensuring requisition instructions are complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Collect and validate information from multiple data sources to support accurate requisition creation.
- Act as the single point of contact for the accurate and timely creation of purchase requisitions within Oracle Financials.
- Monitor and report on the status of purchase orders and change orders, providing actionable insights to project stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis using tools such as Oracle Financials reports, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel to support decision‑making.
- Partner with Project Controls Advisors, Execution, and Engineering Leads on purchase order revisions, change orders, and contract amendments, particularly when funding gaps are identified.
- Work closely with Project Controls, Supply Chain Management, and Accounts Payable to ensure timely receipt of goods and services and accurate invoice validation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in invoice and cost management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience managing Purchase Orders in support of Engineering and Construction capital projects.
- Strong understanding of project cost control best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision in a matrix organizational structure.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office‑based work environment.
- Occasional travel (0–10%) may be required.
