Role Description The Life and Living Benefits Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarnia, ON. This position is responsible for prospecting and engaging new and existing clients to understand their life insurance and living benefits needs, and recommending suitable coverage solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs-based discussions, preparing personalized insurance proposals, handling follow-ups, and guiding clients through applications and underwriting requirements. The specialist will maintain accurate records in the agency’s systems, support ongoing policy reviews, and contribute to sales campaigns and community outreach initiatives. Collaboration with the agent and team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experience is a core component of the role. Compensation Base salary of $52,000 with additional expected commissions of $20,000 per year. Group health and dental benefits also included. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, explain complex concepts clearly, and respond promptly to client inquiries. Proven Sales abilities with experience in consultative selling, needs analysis, and goal-driven performance. Capability in Training and Sales Management to help coach team members, support sales processes, and contribute to a high-performing environment. 3 years experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields is an necessity. Relevant provincial licensing for life insurance and willingness to obtain the general license after onboarding. Comfort with technology, including CRM systems and online quoting tools. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client confidentiality. Ability to work on-site in Sarnia, ON, with flexible availability based on business needs.
