About the role
Overnight Inbound Call Centre Specialist
Directors' Choice is accepting applications for Inbound Call Center Representatives servicing a large client base. We are looking for motivated and performance-driven people. This is an on-site, overnight position.
We handle incoming calls for a large number of Funeral Home accounts, and we are looking for those with high levels of empathy and compassion. We professionally greet callers, provide and request required information, document information and transfer incoming calls or take messages as necessary. We also relay and route critical messages to on-call personnel by prioritizing emergency calls, paging individuals to inform of emergencies and utilizing call center tools to ensure the right person receives the right message at the right time. Our jobs require people that are very detail oriented.

We provide paid-training, great on-going support and health and dental benefits/RRSP upon completion of probation.
Compensation: $18.50 per hour
Shift:
- Sunday-Thursday, 12am-9am
- Training is three weeks: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
- You must be available to work evenings, a weekend shift, and holidays
The Essential Duties of our Representatives are:
- Obtain customer information by answering telephone calls, interviewing callers and verifying information.
- Document all necessary and needed information.
- Follow all required processes and procedures.
- Attend and successfully complete required Call Center training.
The Skills and Qualifications we look for are:
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills (English/Spanish), specifically: spelling, grammar and diction.
- Use professional phone voice communicating customer care and concern.
- Demonstrated active-listening skills to gain client information and ability to ask appropriate questions.
- Demonstrated accurate and fast typing skills.
- Use PC/computer skills in the Microsoft Windows environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years of age.
