What you will be doing?

The Order Administrator provides service to Metrie customers primarily supporting transactional orders and routine account needs. This role focuses on order entry into our SAP system.

The Order Administrator reports directly to the Sales Support Lead or Manager in the region and plays a key role in maintaining customer relationships and supporting operational efficiency through timely and accurate communication.

This position is based in Halton Hills, ON and requires in-branch presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute routine service tasks such as basic quoting, inventory checks, order entry, and delivery coordination with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Adhere to established service processes, ensuring data accuracy and effective management of daily workload to meet performance standards.

  • Effectively balances multiple service demands while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and a high standard of professionalism.

  • Demonstrates adaptability in a fast-paced, transactional environment

  • Consistently meets commitments and follows through on assigned tasks with reliability and accountability.

  • Maintains patience and composure during repetitive or routine customer interactions, ensuring a positive service experience.

  • Contributes to a collaborative team environment by supporting peers and promoting smooth service operations.

  • Utilizes multiple systems and tools to drive efficiency and deliver customer experiences that meet or exceed expectations.

  • Receptive to feedback and committed to ongoing development in customer service, product knowledge, and CRM system proficiency.

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams, for efficient communication, reporting, and collaboration.

  • Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled in task prioritization and capable of working independently while remaining adaptable to changing business needs.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred particularly with HubSpot.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, customer service, order entry, or sales support role within a fast‑paced, transactional environment
  • Proven experience entering and managing orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative and supportive team member
  • Comfortable handling repetitive or routine tasks while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Reliable, accountable, and committed to following established processes and service standards
  • Ability to remain adaptable and composed in a fast‑paced, high‑volume service environment
  • Willingness and ability to work on‑site at the Halton Hills branch

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is CAD $47,200 - $CAD 60,000 per year. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
