About the role

Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000. Tasks: Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities. Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate. Identify customers' needs . Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Promote sales to existing clients. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Prepare and administer sales contracts. Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists. Organize and maintain inventory. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units. Supervision: 3-4 people. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
