About the role
As a Search Strategist, you’ll play an important role in optimizing site experiences, driving measurable results, and contributing to effective content strategies for global brands. Your growing passion for SEO and data-driven thinking will help elevate marketing campaigns and enhance user experiences across a variety of client engagements.
You understand that today’s user experience starts with the search results, and you have a strong foundation for ensuring that the right content is discoverable by the right people at the right time. You’ll contribute to initiatives that drive search performance through content strategy, user experience, and technical SEO best practices. With solid analytical skills and attention to detail, you excel at interpreting data and providing actionable recommendations to improve digital visibility. You collaborate effectively across disciplines and with people to implement SEO best practices and meet customers wherever they’re searching.
You Will: Support the definition, execution, and optimization of holistic search strategies for global brands Deliver actionable insights to clients through clear, well-structured reports, including strategic recommendations Use search data (in conjunction with other research sources) to understand user intent, inform content strategies, and identify business opportunities Contribute to AI Search Optimization/GEO strategies under the guidance of senior team members Help define success metrics and connect SEO results to client business objectives Collaborate with content, technology, creative, and analytics teams to incorporate SEO strategies and best practices Support optimization of social search channels (e.g. YouTube, Reddit) to improve brand and content visibility Assist in aligning paid and organic search strategies to maximize cost efficiencies and holistic brand visibility Conduct SEO audits and competitive analyses Communicate SEO concepts and successes in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner Contribute to frameworks and processes used to track and improve search performance Support technical website reviews to improve search indexability and visibility, including JavaScript SEO and accessibility considerations Apply search-driven guidelines for page content, copy, page speed, accessibility, indexability, structured markup, site architecture, URL structure, titles, meta descriptions, headings, anchor text, internal linking, and site maps Monitor, analyze, and report on search performance to internal stakeholders and clients Stay current with digital trends and changes in the search marketing landscape, including AI search, voice search, and social search
You Have: 2–3+ years of SEO experience Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly Demonstrated ability to contribute to measurable performance improvements Familiarity with GEO and AI search optimization concepts, including AI Overviews and LLMs (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.) Some exposure to global or international SEO, including multi-regional or multi-language considerations Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Experience following and documenting SEO processes and best practices Working knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices Experience with third-party SEO/SEM tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, BrightEdge, etc. Familiarity with analytics and data visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or Google Data Studio Comfort working with data in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make data-driven recommendations Experience contributing to content strategies that improve brand visibility, traffic, and engagement A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment Some experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to support SEO tasks and workflows Familiarity with paid search/SEM, or interest in learning how to integrate SEO and SEM strategies
