We are seeking an experienced SR Azure Data Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience in Azure Data bricks, Python Data Modelling and Data Engineer roles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure and AWS services data security and data integration. This hybrid role involves working on cutting-edge projects in the Cards and Payments domain with a focus on innovation and efficiency. The position is based on a day shift schedule with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures that meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions across various platforms and services.
• Develop and maintain data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Utilize Big Data technologies to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Optimize data access and integration processes to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Lead the development of data pipelines using Spark and other relevant technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on data architecture best practices.
• Oversee the deployment of data solutions on Azure and AWS platforms ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Conduct regular assessments of data systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data architecture and related technologies.
• Contribute to the companys mission by delivering data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Big Data Python and data modelling techniques.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure and AWS services for data architecture.
• Have a solid understanding of data security principles and practices.
• Experience in data integration and access methodologies.
• Familiarity with Spark and its applications in data processing.
• Nice to have experience in the Cards and Payments domain.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $100K-$125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
