Hourly rate: $35.00 - $37.00 depending on level of experience
Fixed Term: 4-5 month contract The Impact You'll Make: As a Designer supporting PC Express, you will be responsible for developing digital design deliverables that elevate, differentiate, and function on-brand and on-strategy across our PC Express businesses. You are someone with strong creative and technical skills, who can handle multiple projects at once – seeing projects from ideation through to production.
What you'll do
Participate in design sessions and contribute through creative concepts and creative input. Lead visual design from concept to completion and contribute to campaign conceptualization and photography shoots. Create designs that are consistent with our brand guidelines. Be accountable for brand consistency across campaigns and assets.
Work closely with cross-functional business teams in sprint workflows
Present design solutions to key stakeholders. Be detailed in your organization of projects. This includes management of project briefs, awareness of project specs, deadlines, files, etc. Balance and manage own workload according to the established business priorities and timelines. Ensure that our digital products can be experienced by everyone, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve, through an applied understanding of AODA design requirements.
What you bring
Several years experience in digital design creating digital marketing A strong portfolio – only those with a portfolio will be considered Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma Knowledge of digital design process and best practices, including image optimization, responsive design, and basic HTML and CSS, and content management systems Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently Open-minded and able to give and take constructive feedback. Participate in design sessions and contribute through creative input. Ability to solve problems and manage stakeholder needs, as well as complex business operational needs and constraints Use data and customer insights to guide and advocate for your work Experience with motion design is an asset Proficiency in French or experience in bilingual design is an asset Our commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
