About the role
The Marketing Data Administrator supports the entry, collection, cleansing, quality assurance, and dissemination of data used in performance tools, product deliverables, ad hoc projects, and scheduled administrative activities. This role works closely with team members on projects related to product content management, with a strong focus on data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. The position involves extensive data entry and manipulation and requires a solid understanding of the underlying data structures and algorithms to ensure information is accurate, current, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and processes internal source documents, performing data extraction, manipulation, and storage across multiple formats in accordance with established guidelines.
- Create, review, and publish recurring periodic reports to various users’ groups.
- Routinely monitor the quality of data across multiple systems and troubleshoot issues that arise.
- Work in conjunction with various internal teams to support enhancement to, or new reporting initiatives.
- Develops, produces, and publishes ad hoc reports to support business needs.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate current business systems, databases, and user needs to create, design, and implement new solutions and applications.
- Performs scheduled administrative tasks related to vendor rebate processing and rebate contract renewals.
- Actively seek ways to improve or automate routine functions within the department.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in data management, manipulation, analysis and/or interpretation.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience (e.g. VLOOKUP, IF, MULTI TABLE, etc.).
- Intermediate Microsoft Access and / or other relational database experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Planning and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of Tableau software is an asset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Contract: 12‑month maternity leave replacement
