**Job Title: SAP Project Manager**

Job Summary The SAP Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful implementation of SAP projects at Syntax. This position is responsible for defining, planning, tracking, and managing all aspects of the project to ensure that objectives are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, foster effective communication with stakeholders, and reinforce enterprise knowledge management through the collection and dissemination of lessons learned.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning activities and ensure the execution of projects aligns with the established plan.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients.
• Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and issues to effectively manage expectations on deliverables.
• Communicate a clear vision of project objectives and motivate the team to achieve them, fostering a high-performance environment.
• Proactively identify changes in work scope and collaborate with stakeholders to reassess and amend project requirements, budget, and timeline.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the project, including budgeting and tracking estimate-to-actual variances.
• Analyze risks, establish contingency plans, and define responsibilities for mitigating actions.
• Escalate project issues promptly to stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Define successful closure criteria for all parties and facilitate sign-off upon project completion.
• Actively manage project stakeholder satisfaction to secure customer references and success stories.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience, preferably in consulting or large-scale implementations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing SAP implementations.
• A minimum of 5 years of client management experience.
• Hands-on functional experience in at least one SAP module.
• Ability to work in the US and/or Canada; sponsorship is not provided.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a functional consultant in SAP projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
