About the role

Your Role

  • Manage a team of approximately 8 professionals responsible for delivering various activities
  • Maintain and develop expertise in securities segregation regulation and related processes
  • Provide client-centered support to our various partners/clients both internally and externally
  • Simplify and improve processes related to our daily activities
  • Build and maintain good relationships with our various stakeholders (FO-Traders, Compliance, Risk Management, IT, etc.) and ensure continuous effective communication
  • Develop, implement, and evolve controls and tools to achieve high-quality standards and minimize operational risks related to activities
  • Act as a coach and guide the team to develop their potential by identifying learning and development opportunities while reinforcing versatility

Your team

As a Senior Manager you will manage a team that is responsible for applying controls related to securities segregation regulation and performing buy-ins and will report to the Senior Director, Transaction Settlement Processes. Being a manager at Financial Markets Operations means working with a dynamic, evolving team where the work is stimulating and diverse. It means implementing the necessary actions for service delivery while aiming to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability in your sector. It also means ensuring your team’s growth and skill development through personalized coaching.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector and 6 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the sector and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Experience in financial markets
  • Good knowledge of securities segregation regulation
  • Experience in process improvement and automation
  • Organizational capacity in managing projects and daily activities
  • Demonstrated ability in change management
