Senior Analyst/Manager: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Analyst/Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior Analyst/Manager - Job Description: The Senior Analyst/Manager will support the Corporate Areas - CM Controllership team by providing financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis activities. The role focuses on delivering insights into revenue and expense variances to enhance decision-making and improve financial operations processes.

Senior Analyst/Manager - Responsibilities:

• Populate month-end reports with financial results and necessary analytical information.
• Lead the analysis and investigation of month-end variances for revenue and expenses.
• Manage the population of forecast and planning models.
• Accumulate and gather information needed for external and internal ad hoc requests.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process and workflow improvements.
• Support and assist team members in modeling and analysis tasks as required.

Senior Analyst/Manager - Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
• Proficient with financial forecasting, management reporting, journal entries, and reconciliation in a corporate environment.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced communication skills.

Senior Analyst/Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Working towards a professional accounting or finance designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, or CFA).
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Highly organized with strong analytical capabilities.

Senior Analyst/Manager – Assignment Length: This is a 12 month contract position.
