The Port Moody Community Services Department is seeking personable, experienced and dynamic recreation instructors to lead afterschool programs for children at the elementary schools. This position is responsible for planning and leading a variety of programs in a recreational setting and providing a safe and secure environment for children.
Candidates must be available to work mid-week, Monday to Friday, from 2:00-5:30pm (minimum 2 shifts/week).
Basic Qualifications:
- Related experience working with children 5-11 years
- Experience coordinating and leading recreation programs
- CPR and a Level 1 First Aid
- High Five certification is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
