About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Red Seal Certified Pipefitter to join our client s manufacturing team close to Welland, ON.
Pay - $42-$44/hr
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes to precise specifications. Assemble and install piping systems with valves, fittings, and supports. Inspect piping systems for leaks, alignment, and safety compliance. Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on piping systems. Work with various materials, including carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, and plastic. Use welding, soldering, or cementing techniques to secure joints. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Red Seal standards. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
Red Seal Certification in Pipefitting/Steamfitting (mandatory). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pipefitting or related trade. Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, codes, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Physically fit to handle materials and work in confined or elevated spaces. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
