Purpose** Perform all aspects of mechanized cut and fill stoping, jumbo ramp development and lateral development.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform all aspects of mechanized cut and fill stoping, jumbo ramp development, and lateral development. With the exception of Jumbo drilling
- Must be able to install ground support to standard, in MCF and development headings including rehab
- Must be able to operate, mechanized bolter (large and small section) fletcher bolter would be an asset
- Must be able to operate on their own and / or with a partner
- Must be able to read, understand and follow prints
- Must be able to setup the workplace in a safe and productive fashion
- Other work as assigned by supervisor
Training and Education
- High School Diploma.
- Underground Common Core Certificate
- Specialty modules in required area
- U0004 Drill Rock
- U0005 Rock Bolt Ground
- U0006 Blast Rock
- U0010 Muck with Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machine
- U0011 Extend Services
- U0013 Operate Lifting Mechanism(s)
- U0018 Operate Mechanized Rock Bolter
- U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle
- U0027 Operate Non-Mechanized Cable Bolter
- U0028 Operate Scissor Lift
- U0080 Install and Maintain Underground Pipe System
- U0082 Install and Maintain Underground Ventilation Equipment
- Minimum of five (7) years mining experience including four (4) years of Development mining and stoping
- Training and licensed on operation of almost all equipment in the mine.
