Department Information

The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) offers challenging and exciting careers in health and social services delivery and administration in Canada’s North. Job Information

Reporting to the Territorial Manager, Clinical Education, the Clinical Nurse Educator - Sahtu (CNE) of the NTHSSA, is located in Norman Wells, and is responsible mentoring and training for nurses in the Sahtu Region. The Sahtu Region includes five communities: Norman Wells, Colville Lake, Deline, Fort Good Hope and Tulita.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of nursing practices in community health nursing, continuing care and a variety of clinical areas.
Ability to work in a team and cross-cultural environment.

To be a successful in this position, you would have a completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing and a minimum of two (2) years work-related experience in a community health centre setting including a minimum of one (1) year experience providing clinical education.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
