The Opportunity

We are actively recruiting for an upcoming vacancy and are looking for a highly organizedReceiving & Logistics Coordinatorto join us at SLEEGERS. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and development of SLEEGERS by supporting production needs. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving material, checking and signing delivery slips, assisting with unloading as necessary

  • Utilizing the ERP system (SYSPRO) to maintain records for receiving, warehousing, and shipping material; issuing and receiving Job/Work Orders tied to Purchase Orders

  • Verifying incoming materials, supplies and equipment against delivery slips and purchase orders; submitting to QC if checks are required

  • Verifying and signing off on work orders for in-house made parts

  • Accepting or returning merchandise according to established procedures; labelling and distributing material to appropriate stakeholders or putting the material away in stock location

  • Working collaboratively with Engineering, Production, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Request rates/quotes and arrange shipments with preferred carriers and/or couriers, as necessary

  • Receiving/creating documentation and scheduling shipments for customer RMAs

  • Creating stock/material transfers between SLEEGERS’ various warehouses

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has at least one year of shipping or receiving experience, preferably in a production environment

  • Experience operating computers for data entry and retrieval

  • Has excellent time management skills and can effectively prioritize and work under tight deadlines

  • Understands the importance of our high degree of product quality and compliance to health and safety standards

  • The ability to comfortably lift up to 50lbs

  • Experience in operating a forklift an asset
