Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST Monday to Friday
Wage : 25$/hour

The Teaching Assistant at Kids Help Phone will provide feedback to crisis responders concerning their crisis intervention skills to ensure reliable, consistent, and well-rounded support for continued volunteer success and advancement in both English and French.

The Position
As a Teaching Assistant, your role is to work alongside a crisis responder coach to ensure that crisis responders, volunteers from across Canada, receive high quality feedback in a timely way and that all Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for texting services are met or exceeded.
What You'll do
- Grade a high volume of quizzes and activities in a standardized training
- Provide structured and customized feedback to support crisis responder trainees in their learning and development
- May be required to provide input into training materials and program newsletters
- Participate in team meetings, projects and alignment on training materials and communications
What You'll Need
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in a social work or education-related field
- Experience learning or teaching in an online environment preferred
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Bilingualism (French and English) required
- Possess an acceptable "Vulnerable Person Sector Criminal Reference Check" prior to starting employment (can be conducted by the organization for successful candidates)
- Possess a current “Police Reference Check” prior to starting employment (can be conducted by the organization for successful candidates)
